Consultations – Karen will come to your home and spend approximately 1 to 3 hours touring your home for a complete interior room-by-room and exterior analysis. This written customized consultation is an action plan that will provide you, the homeowner, the steps needed to show your home at its greatest potential. She will create a prioritized “to-do” list of what specifically needs to be cleaned, removed and/or rearranged, packed up and stored, painted, repaired and/or updated. If you are the Do-It-Yourself type this option provides a very cost effective, step-by-step guide of what needs to be completed to enhance your home’s marketability.
Full or partial staging – [taking the consultation to the next level]. If you decide that the comprehensive written action plan is too much to do, than you can complete some of the work yourself, or you can leave it in Karen’s capable hands. Furniture and accessory rentals – A large variety of furniture, art, mirrors, plants, bedding, lamps, and accent pieces are available for rent. This inventory is ever-growing to ensure only unique items and/or the latest styles & trends are used in your home. Large furniture pieces or additional accessories are available for rent through affiliate rental companies. Original/one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork are available for rent or to purchase through exclusive connections.
Vacant properties – Empty houses seem unbalanced, cold and are harder to sell. Buyers may find it difficult to understand the scale of a room without some sort of frame of reference. Strategic placement of a few pieces and accessories may be all that it takes to create a warm and welcoming feeling. Rent furnishings from Engaging Staging’s own extensive inventory or from a reputable affiliate furniture rental company or use a combination of the two. Engaging Staging will source rental furniture, art, lighting, accessories & decorative items; organize delivery of the rental items; complete staging and detailing of the home; and oversee removal & return of the rental items. A vacant house can be staged from top to bottom with style, or partially staged with vignettes that will highlight major design features and focal points to ensure that it will not remain vacant for long.
